Yimi Garcia signs with the Blue Jays
The Blue Jays have signed relief pitcher Yimi Garcia, who recently pitched for the Houston Astros.
It is not yet known what kind of contract he signed.
Yimi Garcia isn’t a major baseball star and he’s not a ninth inning pitcher, but he can bring water to the mill in the pen.
It doesn’t change everything, but …
He has experience from the 2021 World Series. He also pitched in LA for a long time, but was used little in the playoffs.
Last year in Miami and Houston, he maintained a 4.21 ERA. Minor addition, therefore.
