Women’s hockey players to join NHL 22 in 2022 – News

From the start of 2022, women’s teams will be available in the game with the IIHF Women’s Teams tournament and the women’s world championships. It will therefore be possible to play alongside the icon of the USA team, Hilary Knight, or the captain of the Canada team, Marie-Philippe Poulin.

In the meantime, the latest update available since today is for the World Junior Men’s Championships and the men’s teams of the IIHF, the international ice hockey federation. Federations, logos and uniforms will notably be available in Ultimate Team and World of Chel modes, while rosters for quick matches in Kick-Off mode will be updated with the latest official teams. The IHF Men’s World Championships will also be playable at the start of 2022 thanks to another update.

Since the October 15 release, NHL 22 has also added a few features like roster sharing and content migration in HUT (Hockey Ultimate Team) mode to transfer the progression from the old generation of consoles to the new one.
