Wimbledon: two top 20s fall in the second round
Elina Svitolina, fifth world and semi-finalist in 2019, as well as Maria Sakkari, 18th and semi-finalist of the last Roland-Garros, were eliminated Thursday in the second round of Wimbledon.
The Ukrainian Svitolina held only 1:05 on the court against the Polish Magda Linette (44th) who won 6-3, 6-4.

The Greek Sakkari lost 7-5, 6-4 against the American Shelby Rogers (46th) in 1h48.
In the third round, Linette will face the Spaniard Paula Badosa (33rd) and Rogers will play against the Kazakhe Elena Rybakina (20th).
