William Saliba wants to renew with Arsenal

William Saliba, scorer this Sunday with Arsenal against Brentford (0-3), has announced his intention to extend his contract if the London club makes him an offer.

William Saliba came back stronger from OM after his year on loan with the Olympian club. If he really discovers the Premier League this season, he has become in a few matches one of the centerpieces of Arsenal.  » I came back here [à Arsenal] to impose myself and it’s good to start well, as I did. (…) he told CFC.

William Saliba wanted to play first and foremost

William Saliba then explains the reasons why he chose to leave Arsenal temporarily: For me, it was better to leave. I’m a young player and it’s always better to play and gain experience, make mistakes and learn. If you don’t play, you can’t progress. For me, leaving for a year and a half was beneficial. I came back stronger, with new ambitions  » he added.

Finally, a little later on Sky SportsWilliam Saliba, who likes the Olympian club, has declared himself ready to sign a new lease with Arsenal while his current contract ends in June 2024.
