Where and when to watch the 2021 World Road Cycling Championships?

After a 2020 edition disrupted by sanitary conditions, the UCI Road Cycling World Championships (September 19-26) will take place in Flanders, Belgium this year. Who will wear the rainbow tunic and succeed Julian Alaphilippe, Filippo Ganna or Anna Van Der Breggen, crowned last year in Italy?

In the men’s road race, Julian Alaphilippe is among the favorites to his own succession for these 2021 World Road Cycling Championships. Other big names are in contention for the title, including Tadej Pogacar, Primoz Roglic, Wout Van Aert, Mathieu Van Der Poel or Remco Evenepoel.

In the men’s time trial, Filippo Ganna will be favorite to his own succession, but will have to face other serious contenders like Kasper Asgreen, Stefan Küng or of course Wout Van Aert.
