What drives athletes to surpass themselves?

The week of January 24 to 29 is olympic and paralympic week. Created on the initiative of the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports and the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee, the Olympic and Paralympic week is dedicated to promoting sport among young people and mobilizing the educational community around civic and sporting values.

According to the IOC: “Olympism is a philosophy of life, exalting and combining in a balanced whole the qualities of body, will and mind. Combining sport with culture and education, Olympism seeks to create a lifestyle based on joy in effort, the educational value of good example and respect for universal fundamental ethical principles. »

In Charmoy, the wolf hiker club was created in June 1998, on the initiative of 6 friends who aimed to promote dog sledding, and to discover the real pleasure of harnessing their dogs during a ballad. We are of course far from the snowy landscapes of the Far North but the thrills are guaranteed!
