Liverpool need attacking reinforcements in 2022 and FC Dallas hitman Ricardo Pepi is showing he can be Jurgen Klopp’s man.
According to a recent report from CBS Sports, Liverpool are a potential destination for Pepi in the January transfer window.
Pepi has asked to leave FC Dallas and is desperate to move to Europe to continue his career.
Now Liverpool target Pepi has won an individual award after a superb season in Major League Soccer.

Pepi, 18, took home the US Soccer Young Player of the Year award this weekend. Christian Pulisic won the senior award.
Pepi won the award after scoring 13 goals in 31 MLS games. Add three goals in just seven caps for the United States and it has been a breathtaking year for Pepi.
Some may put a caveat in MLS about Pepi’s accomplishments, but scoring that number of goals at 18 is hugely impressive.
Pepi may be Liverpool’s man for the future
Pepi is just a kid and you have to deal with the expectations, but you can see him grow into a Premier League star.
A classic 6-foot-1 center-forward, Pepi has been compared to Robert Lewandowski.

If you needed a reminder of Lewandowski’s record under Klopp, he smashed 102 goals and 42 assists in 186 games.
Pepi’s enormous potential has been underlined by this latest accolade, and Liverpool could push hard in January.
Roberto Firmino is 30 and Liverpool have to think about the future. Teenager Pepi can learn from the Brazilian before he becomes a regular threat for Liverpool.
If Liverpool land Pepi, they are hopeful that Klopp can work his magic with the American and really turn him into the next Lewandowski.
