The winter holidays got off to a good start for the twenty or so young people enrolled in the teen reception center at the Monts du Roumois. The center welcomes middle and high school students during the school holidays, from February 7 to 18, around a beautiful program prepared by the animator Stéphane, with the Roumois Seine comcom.
On the program, a new activity every day: cooking, group games, digital leisure, electric bike, bowling, sports and play relays. For Stéphane, “giving teenagers the opportunity to innovate and let their creativity reveal itself is essential during these holidays”.
Virtual reality
Friday February 11, Sébastien Cabin, mediator at the Intercommunality, advises young people so that they discover a universe of multiple games, with the virtual reality helmets Oculus Quest 2 and 90.
This equipment allows participants to move freely in space with the joysticks, while seeing the environment through the camera. “ Virtually playing table tennis, my teenagers like to bounce the ball on the racket and send it back, in a room reconstructed at 360 degrees.

Even for preschoolers!
Florence, animator, introduces kindergartens to robotics. During these school holidays, she travels to the CCRS leisure centres. She meets the little ones there to introduce them to little robots. « They will help them to distinguish right and left movements.. »
Thursday’s vigil satisfied all the young people at the centre. They put their feet in the kitchen to prepare delicacies and a good Italian meal, and spend an evening of which they will keep very good memories.
