For her third cap, the 19-year-old striker, who came on in the second half, inaugurated her goal counter for the national team with a low strike in the 72nd minute, for the 8-0, during the wide success of the American selection, Tuesday evening, against Uzbekistan (9-0), in a friendly match in Chester (Pennsylvania).

USA unbeaten for 67 home games

Rodman, who plays for defending American League champion Washington Spirit, celebrated his first cap in February. She is the daughter of Dennis, who was five-time NBA champion, in 1989 and 1990 with Detroit and from 1996 to 1998 with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls. From 1992 to 1998, he finished seven seasons in a row as the league’s top rebounder, a record unmatched in the North American league, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Uzbekistani Kamila Zaripova had scored an own goal in the first minute, before the Americans added to the score with, in addition to the goal from Rodman, doubles from Rose Lavelle and Catarina Macario, and goals from Mallory Pugh, Midge Purce and Ashley Sanchez.
