VIDEO – The Ferrari 296 GT3 shakedown

The year 2023 will be the year of change for Ferrari in the world of GT3. After more than 7 years of good and loyal service, the 488 GT3 from the Maranello manufacturer will bow out at the end of the 2022 season to make way for the 296 GT3, currently under development.

Expected for the next campaign, the Ferrari 296 GT3 continues its driving sessions near Fiorano, the test track of the transalpine firm, with the reigning WEC champion in the GTE Pro category, Alessandro Pier Guidi, and the driver of development, Andrea Bertolini, at the controls.

A few days after unveiling the first shots of the 296 GT3 on the track, Ferrari has this time published a video of the shakedown of the replacement for the 488 GT3. Development work will continue over the coming months to ensure Maranello’s new car is ready for the start of the 2023 season.
