PSG: Verratti, Herrera, Wijnaldum and Gueye remain indoors

PSG players Marco Verratti, Ander Herrera, Georginio Wijnaldum and Idrissa Gueye were satisfied with an indoor job this Friday.

The Italian midfielder, hit in the quadriceps and forfeit against Manchester City, could be absent for several weeks, according to L’Equipe. Wijnaldum also gave up the game against the English due to pain behind a knee.

Ander Herrera himself was injured against the Citizens and was replaced by Danilo Pereira (61st). Gueye gave way to Angel Di Maria a few minutes later (67th). (LT)

OL-OM incidents still in the minds

Five days after the end of the OL-OM match at Groupama Stadium, where Marseille’s Dimitri Payet received a bottle of water on his head, the incidents were still subject to discussion in the first press conferences of the week.

While in Nice, Christophe Galtier said he wanted to « hit hard » on the attackers, Nantes technician Antoine Kombouaré said he was « very affected by seeing Payet on the ground », and asked for life-long stadium bans.
