This Friday at a press conference, midfielder Jordan Veretout returned to the Italian culture he wants to instill in the team.
Midfielder Jordan Veretout spent five seasons in Serie A whether at Fiorentina or AS Roma and he learned a lot from Italian culture, especially tactics. Present at a press conference this Friday, Jordan Veretout spoke about the culture of Italian football that he would like to instill in Olympique de Marseille.
“I have matured a lot”
“I learned a lot in Italy, they have a different football culture. Tactically I grew, but also off the pitch. I have matured a lot. I will bring this Italian culture, this rigour, to the team. There is a very good team at OM, which had a very good season last year. I hope for the same destiny, all together. After the Europa League Conference in Rome and the League of Nations with the Blues, I want to continue to win titles, to have great emotions with the Marseille public.
The former AS Roma will certainly need some time to adapt even if he is already physically ready. The midfielder should start against Brest this Sunday evening.
