Valentin Claireaux leaves the Rouen Dragons
[ad_1]
Valentin Claireaux only stayed six months with the Rouen Dragons. The time all the same to win a title of champion of France (without however playing the final, because injured in the gluteal muscles). Claireaux indeed terminated his contract with Rouen on Tuesday. The Dragons announced it, confirming information from our colleagues from Paris-Normandy.
Aged 32, the center of the France team – he participated in the World Cup in May – had returned to the Magnus League, after eight seasons abroad, especially in Finland and the Czech Republic. Valentin Claireaux would not have found his marks both in Rouen and in the French championship. He should go back to play abroad.
For the Dragons, it’s a new blow. The Rouen club has already lost three other important players during the off-season: the Canadians François Beauchemin (who signed in Switzerland) and Kelsey Tessier (end of career) and the Finnish defender Aleksi Elorinne who returned to Liiga (first Finnish Division).
