UEFA Champions League: Mohamed Salah satisfied with the result

On the evening of Tuesday, October 4, Liverpool dominated Rangers 2-0. This counts for Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Scorer in the match, Mohamed Salah is satisfied with the result.

Thanks to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, Liverpool signed their second victory in this group stage of the European Champions League against Rangers. At the end of the meeting dominated from start to finish by the Reds, Mo Salah expressed his satisfaction. He makes it known that this success could not be possible without the tactical plan put in place by Jürgen Klopp.

“It’s important to win our matches because it’s a tough group. Yesterday the coach told us about the system which is good for all of us because we all want to score goals. I think it worked well today,” the Egyptian said in the post-match press conference.

By scoring his second goal this season in the UEFA Champions League from the penalty spot, the former Roma side has a total of 42 goals in the queen of European club competitions. This allows him to show up two lengths from Didier Drogba’s record for the number of goals scored by an African player in the competition. The ex-Chelsea legend has 44 goals.
