Two slots dedicated to healthy sport open on Mondays and Thursdays, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In this new season, the Cercle Pasteur Montargis is setting up healthy sport, with a new niche dedicated to adapted physical activity.

Different from maintenance gymnastics, on issuance of a medical prescription, it allows people to be able to enroll in health sport. Two slots open every Monday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., as part of a partnership between the Cercle Pasteur and the Maison sport santé de Montargis. They are provided by Virginie Deweulf, certified health sport coach. She is a state graduate in fitness professions, and has acquired a training in physical and sports activities supervision specializing in pathologies and disabilities. “The people who need it most are not the ones who come. We must therefore reach out to them, in order to help them cope better with their pathology, or their handicap. I want to create group lessons that are supervised and adapted to the Cercle Pasteur in order to help those concerned to live better with their pathology and to make them regain their self-confidence, ”she says. These slots are a plus for those who register, because unlike a classic club, they provide support and medico-sports support, thanks to the support of the Agglomeration. Virginie Deweulf favors the convivial aspect in her groups, in order to recreate social ties.
