This new schedule was chosen to allow « clubs to finalize their international transfers more serenely on the FIFA TMS application, the closing time of which remains midnight », indicated the body.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be sidelined between three and six weeks.

France is not the only country where the transfer market will close its doors this Thursday. This will also be the case in Germany (5 p.m.), England (11 p.m.), Spain (11 p.m.) and Italy. But others will play extra time like Belgium (September 6), Turkey (September 8) or Portugal, where it will be possible to recruit until September 22.
