Transfers – Football: When does the transfer window end?

As in several other countries in Europe, the transfer market will close its doors this Thursday, September 1 in France. But at 11 p.m. and no longer at midnight.

Especially since the closing time of the transfer window has been brought forward. Clubs now have until 11 p.m. to send contracts to the Professional Football League, rather than midnight. This new schedule was chosen to allow « clubs to finalize their international transfers more serenely on the FIFA TMS application, the closing time of which remains midnight », indicated the body.

France is not the only country where the transfer market will close its doors this Thursday. This will also be the case in Germany (5 p.m.), England (11 p.m.), Spain (11 p.m.) and Italy. But others will play extra time like Belgium (September 6), Turkey (September 8) or Portugal, where it will be possible to recruit until September 22.
