Transfer: Brentford confirm the signing of Christian Eriksen
Christian Eriksen will be linked with Brentford for the rest of the season. The English club have announced the recruitment of the Danish midfielder subject to international clearance.
The Bees have decided to give Christian Eriksen a chance until the end of the season. The Danish suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of a match during Euro 2021 with Denmark against Finland. While he now wears a pacemaker device, Serie A does not allow a player with this type of problem to play in the championship. He was therefore forced to terminate his contract with Inter Milan last December.
For the past few hours, the 29-year-old has been a new member of Brentford. Christian Eriksen signed his contract after completing a medical assessment and is tied to the English club until the end of the 2021-2022 season. The Danish had already played in the English Premier League, notably under the colors of Tottenham Hotspur with 305 games played in six and a half years.
