Towards an earthquake in Formula 1: Max Verstappen would consider a transfer to Ferrari

Max Verstappen is heading straight for a new world title. The Dutchman could even glean the title next week in Singapore, even if he would need a famous contest of circumstances. But he seems to have enough of an advantage to go for his second world crown this season.

But according to Automoto.it, this new coronation gives rise to new ideas in the Verstappen clan. Indeed, the Italian newspaper evokes very informal discussions between Jos, Max’s dad, and the management of Ferrari. The Dutch driver would obviously see himself joining the Scuderia in a few years, in order to continue to inflate his prize list within a historic team in Formula 1. The first contacts did not concern a short-term arrival, but well in the medium term.

Recall that Verstappen recently signed a contract until 2028 with Red Bull, which refused an investment offer from Porsche, which wanted to join forces to create a factory team for the German brand. Ferrari is hiring Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who are still under contract next season.
