The African Supercup to oppose Al Ahly of Egypt and Raja of Casablanca should be postponed again. It would be the umpteenth shift for this salient event in African football.
The African Football Confederation (CAF) is probably struggling to set a specific date for the holding of the African Super Cup.
Faced with Al Ahly of Egypt, winner of the Champions League, and Raja of Casablanca, champion of the CAF Cup, this final should again be postponed.
Several media report it, arguing that this final, scheduled for September 2021, could be played between December 24 and 26 in Doha, Qatar.
However, in the absence of an official communication from CAF, speculation is rife. Moreover, well informed of the workings of the African body, Egyptian websites affirm that the decision to postpone the Supercup is indeed being considered.
