Toronto FC eliminated in CONCACAF Champions League

For a second game in a row, Toronto FC were no match for Cruz Azul, beaten by the small margin of 1 to 0, Tuesday at Azteca Stadium, to lose by the score of 4 goals to 1 in the quarter CONCACAF Champions League final.

The La Liga MX side dominated with possession of 59.4%, shooting 14 shots, 7 of which were on target. Brayan Angulo was the only scorer of the game, in the 27th minute of play.

The Mexican team will face in the next round the winners of the clash between the Crew of Columbus and Monterrey. The return match is scheduled for Wednesday, after a 2-2 draw in the curtain-raiser.

Kacper Przybylko scores again, the Union continues its journey
