Brady Tkachuk is expected to reach an agreement with the Ottawa Senators before training camp begins on September 22, general manager Pierre Dorion said Thursday.
The forward, who is a compensated free agent, led the Senators with 36 points (17 goals, 19 assists) in 56 games last season. He finished second in the NHL in shots on goal (220) and body checks (250).
