Titans: Malcolm Butler cut

The major maneuvers continue before the start of the free agency. NFL Media reports that Malcolm Butler is going to be cut off by the Titans. The franchise will thus release $ 10 million in its payroll for 2021.
Arriving in Tennessee in 2018 from New England, Butler has compiled 188 tackles, 35 assists defended and 9 interceptions in three seasons under Mike Vrabel. In 2020, the man who rocked Super Bowl XLIX had one of his best seasons statistically and his early departure is a little surprise.
At 31, the player joins a substantial list of veteran cornerback available on the free agent market but should be able to apply for a new adventure.
After three seasons of a 5-year, $ 61.25M deal, Butler is released. It saves the #Titans more than $ 10M against the cap and makes Butler a free agent. https://t.co/uH2EuPK9Tz
