As part of a noted initiative and communication project (PIC), Martin Perron, Maxime Juin and Yoann Hamon, three second-year technical-commercial BTS students at the Kerlebost agricultural school, in Saint-Thuriau, are organizing, on Saturday January 15 at evening, at the EgameBreizh bar, in Pontivy, an e-sport tournament, supported by the game Rocket League. The three students had already worked together last year, making a professional video presenting a company. This time, the trio opted for the organization of a tournament based on a video game. An organization that future salespeople have been preparing for two months with the EgameBreizh bar. “We chose the Rocket League game, which is one of the most popular in esports competitions today. A 2 against 2 tournament, with group stages followed by the final stage, ”explain the three boys.
A tournament open to all
“Some registered alone or as a team. Even without a partner, do not hesitate to come, there will be enough to compose teams on site, ”recalls the trio. Appointment is given at 5 pm, « the time to register or validate the registrations and to control the sanitary passes », for a kickoff of the tournament at 6 pm sharp. A surprise prize is intended for the victorious team, other prizes will be distributed by the organizers, who finalize their search for sponsors. « It’s not easy in this period to find partners », observe the students.
