Three cars in 2023 for Alpha Prime Racing

Alpha Prime Racing has announced a move to three cars for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The team will add the No. 43 alongside the No. 44 and No. 45 already entered in 2022. Ryan Ellis will be the main driver of the new car with 24 races scheduled on its calendar. This will be its biggest program since the 2016 season. A second driver will be unveiled later.

This development is more important than expected since initially there was talk of 15 races for Ellis. This program change implies greater support from sponsors.

The 2023 season will undoubtedly be the most important of Ellis’ NASCAR career so far. It will begin with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

Earlier this month, Alpha Prime Racing announced the extension of Sage Karam’s contract for a partial program. Jeffrey Earnhardt will be full-time behind the wheel of the #44 Chevrolet Camaro.

Caesar Bacarella will likely compete in super speedway races. Tommy Joe Martins could also make multiple races having competed in five events in 2022.

Stefan Parsons, Rajah Caruth and Julia Landauer are other names circulating for part-time programs within the squad.
