Originally, this 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider caught fire after an accident during a race nearly 60 years ago. But now, impossible to find a trace of its red color, nor of its wheels. She could go 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and could reach 235 km/h. In particular, she participated in Imola Grand Prixin Italy, the year of its manufacture.

A historic car

In 1958, this Ferrari is exported to the United States and she participates in races. It then changes hands several times.

In 1963, its owner, a vintage car dealer partly owned by Sotheby’s, replaced its original engine with an American V8. It was a common practice then.
