The Warriors are NBA champions

The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, winning 103-90 in Game 6 of the Final Series.

It is also the seventh coronation in the history of the Warriors franchise and the fourth championship in eight years. Indeed, the Californian club had also won top honors in 2015, 2017 and 2018. For their part, the Celtics will still have to wait before getting their hands on the 18th victory in their history in the final.

Thursday night at TD Garden, Steph Curry led the charge with 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. He was supported by Canadian Andrew Wiggings, who scored 18 points.

Draymond Green was not left out. The 32-year-old veteran had 12 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. He now has 15 games with at least seven rebounds and as many assists in the NBA Finals. Only LeBron James (34) and Magic Johnson (29) are ahead of him in league history.

At the Celtics, Jaylen Brown was very good in the loss. Number 7 had 34 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
