The two attractive tracks of OM in attack
The president of Olympique de Marseille Pablo Longoria was working on two issues to strengthen his attack in the coming months, with the names of Randal Kolo Muani (Nantes) and Valentin Castellanos (New York City).
With the uncertainty related to the future of striker Arkadiusz Milik, disappointing for several weeks and apparently available for a winter transfer, Olympique de Marseille is likely to try a few blows in attack during this month of January.
It is not a secret, the Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli hopes to obtain an offensive reinforcement. And to satisfy the Argentinian technician, President Pablo Longoria got to work, with two well-established tracks.
First, the newspaper The team This Sunday confirms the interest of the Olympians for Nantes center-forward, the promising Randal Kolo Muani. In addition to an obvious potential, the international Espoirs has an interesting contractual situation since his lease expires in June.
OM could therefore try their luck in January or at worst wait until the end of the season to move. However, the business promises to be difficult since the Nantes driver also likes Eintracht Frankfurt and clearly favors a future in Germany.
At the same time, the Argentinian daily TyC Sports relay another track for the Marseillais, with the striker of New York City, Valentin Castellanos. Sampaoli and the Marseille board would be perfectly seduced by the qualities of the 23-year-old striker, who finished top scorer of the last MLS season with 19 goals.
There again, OM would have a lot to do since the Argentine is courted by Cagliari, Fiorentina, Palmeiras, Feyenoord and West Ham. As for his club, he would claim 13 M € to validate a transfer. OM is therefore warned!
