The starting grids of the Duels

The qualifications of the DAYTONA 500 allowed to establish the starting grids of the two Bluegreen Vacations Duels which will make it possible to establish the starting grid of The Great American Race.

Wednesday’s qualifying session established the first line of the starting grid for the DAYTONA 500, the nineteen other lines will be known at the end of the Bluegreen Vacations Duels this Thursday evening.

Kyle Larson will start from pole position in the first of two Duels and can count on the support of his teammates William Byron Jr. and Chase Elliott.

In the second duel, Alex Bowman will be on pole with Aric Almirola at his side. Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin will be on the second row.

In these two races there will be six drivers to watch, Noah Gragson, Kaz Grala and JJ Yeley in the first, Jacques Villeneuve, Greg Biffle and Timmy Hill in the second. If better ranked under the checkered flag each Duel will ensure its place at the start. Noah Gragson and Jacques Villeneuve are sure to be at the start of The Great American Racebecause of their time in qualifying.

The races will be held at Daytona International Speedway from 7:00 p.m. (01:00 a.m. in France) for the first Duel and 8:45 p.m. (02:45 a.m. in France) for the second.
