The Seattle Sounders on the international stage for the first time

The American team Seattle Sounders will make its first outing on the international scene during the Club World Cup scheduled for February 1 to 11 in Rabat and Tangier.
The American team won its ticket to this international competition, organized for the third time in Morocco, after lifting the Concacaf Champions League trophy by winning against the Pumas of Mexico (3-0).
The victory made the Sounders the first American Major League Soccer (MLS) team to lift the trophy in a generation and gave the United States the continental title they have coveted for more than 20 years.
The American team is also the first from MLS to play in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Last season in the American Football League, she played 34 games in which she had 41 points in eleventh place, 6 points behind the lowest-ranked team, San Jose.
At the Club World Cup, the Seattle Sounders will compete on February 4 in the first quarter-final. They will cross swords with the winner of the duel between the Egyptians of Al Ahly and the New Zealanders of Auckland City FC, scheduled to open the Club World Cup.
Seven clubs will participate in this edition of the Club World Cup, namely Wydad Casablanca, winner of the 2021/22 CAF Champions League, Al Hilal SFC (Saudi Arabia), winner of the 2021 AFC Champions League, CAF Champions League runners-up Al Ahly of Egypt and CONCACAF Champions League 2022 winner Seattle Sounders FC (USA).
It is also the Brazilian formation of CR Flamengo, winner of the Copa Libertadores 2022, Auckland City FC (New Zealand), winner of the 2022 OFC (Oceania Football Confederation) Champions League in plus 2022 UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid.
