From September 14 to 19, 2022, after the dark Covid years, marked by a year of interruption and another halftone, the Fair-expo of Saint-Brieuc celebrates its 74th edition.

Its new formula, tighter and above all much more festive, offers several new features.

A denser edition

The first novelty is that the demonstration is concentrated over six days and a single weekend, unlike previous editions which lasted about ten days.

This corresponds to a strong demand from exhibitors because the event requires significant human resources.

Pascal Jourand, director of the Saint-Brieuc exhibition center.

« It’s also a way to revitalize the event by making it denser over a shorter period ».

A Canadian village and afterwoks

The fair will thus be animated every day with truly festive moments such as the return of dance evenings on Friday and Saturday evenings, but also afterworks (free admission) from Thursday to Saturday, from 6 p.m., with music, tapas, street food and local products in the Hall 1 dedicated to gastronomy.

We will find in this same hall a Canadian village of almost 300 m2 to discover the culinary specialties of this vast country.

There will even be a trip across the Atlantic to be won for 2 people on this occasion.

A large living space

Hall 2 will remain mainly dedicated to the housing, garden, interior decoration and comfort sector with spas and swimming pools.

There will also be a “Celebrate your games” area (20,000 euros endowment) and a cabaret area, with two performances a day at the end of the day, as well as a fine costume exhibition.

New technologies

Finally, Hall 3 will highlight new technologies.

You can fly drones, put on helmets to experience virtual and augmented realities or even try out old arcade games, like the legendary PacMan.

A very playful space

It will be partly animated by the Nef des Fous, the association at the head of the Binic music festival.

Daily entertainment

« This edition does not include an exhibition event, like the other years, but instead of events every day and in all the halls », further comments Pascal Jourand.

The outdoor spaces will welcome as usual the leisure vehicle show.

This leisure vehicle show is the most important in Brittany, with the presentation of many models to be released in 2023.

Other highlights

– The famous Costa Rican Youtuber Clemdetrem will be present at the fair to meet his fans on Saturday September 17, Hall 3, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
