The elite of French football in the arena. Since this Thursday, Ligue 1 clubs have been competing with the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. It was Strasbourg that had the honor of playing the first match against Valenciennes on Thursday evening, and the Alsatians won 1-0 in the northern fog.

In a poster between Ligue 2 clubs, Amiens won his ticket by going to fight Guingamp 3-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Akolo. The Picard club led 3-0 before getting scared in the second period, but they have not lost for two months after a complicated start to the season in the league.

In another confrontation between second division clubs, Toulouse has upgraded Nimes 4-1 thanks in particular to a double from Ado Onaiwu, who also scored a decisive pass. The Toulouse, second in Ligue 2, and the Nîmes, tenth, will meet on Tuesday in the league.

Other residents of L2, the players of Quevilly-Rouen have long been trailing 1-0 by Laval (National) before equalizing and qualifying on penalties against Tangos (1-1, 4-2 on pens). PSG, Monaco, Lens and Montpellier qualified without problem

Other elite clubs ensured their qualification without incident. Finalist of the last edition against PSG, monaco prevailed at the red star Habib Beye (National) thanks to a double from Wissam Ben Yedder (32nd, 64th).
