The regional sports conference installed

The regional conference of the sport of Occitanie was installed by Étienne Guyot, prefect of the region. Kamel Chibli, vice-president of the Occitanie Region in charge of Youth and Sports, was elected president by the 74 members. The aim of this conference is to bring together the various players in sport at the territorial level so that they can better consult each other. During this first meeting, a regional diagnosis of sport was presented to the delegates representing four colleges: the State, local authorities, the sports movement and economic and social players. A structuring and collective project will be built for the next five years. A conference of funders will also be set up. For Kamel Chibli, « the objective is clear: to unite all the players in the sports world to build a common regional strategy. »
