The Red Devils draw the Netherlands, Poland and Wales

This Thursday, around 6 p.m., the draw for the 2022-2023 edition of the Nations League was held. The Red Devils, beaten successively by France (2-3) and Italy (1-2) in the Final Four in October, appeared in pot 1 of League A. They inherited the following three nations in the group. A4: the Netherlands, Poland and Wales.

For once again to climb into the last four, the Devils will therefore have to take the measure of the Dutch, Poles and Welsh, promoted after winning their group in League B in the last edition.

At the end of the six days, including four scheduled for June (2-8 then 8-14) and two in September (22-27), the first of each of the four groups of League A will be qualified for the Final Four, scheduled from June 14 to 18, 2023 in a location yet to be determined.

The last four will descend to League B. These six Nations League matches will also and above all serve Roberto Martinez to prepare his team for the 2022 World Cup, played from November 21 to December 18 in Qatar. Especially since the Catalan has already announced that he will do without players with more than 50 capes for the March camp in Qatar.
