The break in the QMJHL will end on February 3, when the 18 teams on the circuit will be back in action.
Owners of the circuit today voted on a proposal to allow rosters to return to play despite restrictions still preventing amphitheaters from hosting spectators.
From February 7, it will be allowed to accommodate a maximum of 500 spectators in the stands.
The QMJHL had however indicated a few weeks ago that it would not resume its activities as long as there were no fans in the stands. However, the situation has evolved and several players had threatened in recent days to go into exile in the United States if the situation did not improve in Quebec, we were allowed to learn.
The plan still remains to complete the regular schedule of 68 games in the Courteau circuit.
