The Prototype Cup Germany lands in Germany
The ADAC, together with the Dutch promoter Creventic, is setting up a new prototype series in Germany. The Prototype Cup allows LMP3s to compete in approximately one-hour races from 2022. The ADAC has obtained exclusive long-term rights to the LMP3 category from the ACO.
Four races, broadcast via a livestream, will be organized next season in Belgium and Germany. The calendar will go through Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburgring, Lausitzring and Hockenheim. This new series is a national complement to the Michelin Le Mans Cup knowing that no date will overlap between the two championships. In addition to LMP3 prototypes, small CN prototypes will be allowed to run in Prototype Cup Germany.
