The Porsche Vision GT takes off the top for Gran Turismo 7

It was via Twitter that Porsche announced the arrival of a new playable concept in Gran Turismo 7, a video game available only on PlayStation consoles.

For several years now, many manufacturers have regularly offered more or less original concept cars, all playable in the Gran Turismo video game on PlayStation consoles.

The latest episode will soon welcome a new concept signed Porsche, a “roofless” version of the one unveiled a little over a year ago now. With its cockpit that can only accommodate one person, the driver, the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo Spyder follows in the footsteps of the very real Ferrari Monza SP1, or even the Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo Roadster concept unveiled at the start of the year.

Unfortunately, Porsche has so far been a bit stingy with information about this Spyder, which should undoubtedly benefit from the same technical characteristics as its predecessor.

Thus, as a reminder, the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo, 100% electric and four-wheel drive, has a maximum total power of 950 kW, or just under 1300 horsepower (with overboost and launch control). Equipped with an 87 kWh battery, it has a range of 500 km (WLTP). On the performance side, this Porsche is not in the lace with the 0 to 100 km / h swallowed in just 2.1 seconds (5.4 seconds to reach 200 km / h), while its top speed is 350 km /h.
