A chief mechanic, from Haute-Marne, Quentin Lavallée, aged 20, lost his life in a road accident on the sidelines of the Dakar 2022 in Saudi Arabia, the organizers announced in a press release on Friday.

The victim is Quentin Lavallée, he was a mechanic and worked on the race within the PH Sport team. He was driving the PH Sport team support vehicle. It’s a collision with a Saudi truck. The driver, Quentin Lavallée, 20, was from Chalindrey (Haute-Marne) where his family runs a garage.
