The Pay Zone: cannons thunder in the first quarter of the NFL season


The first quarter of the season is already behind us in the NFL. Only one team remains undefeated, the Arizona Cardinals. Several others are still in the game for top honors, including the Buffalo Bills, which explode everything that moves these days. The Paying Zone looks at these leading teams and other individuals who would have benefited from using their brainpower in the last days …

But before getting into the big contenders, it’s important to shed some light on a hot issue in the NFL: the coaching quarrel between Vic Fangio, of the Broncos, and John Harbaugh, of the Ravens. Fangio did not appreciate his counterpart opting for a run on the last play of the match, rather than knee to the ground, as the label wants.
