It’s December and that means the holidays are fast approaching. Jason opened the show with a rant about how some parents handled a certain Christmas tradition for their kids.

They ended up getting into big league-wide stories starting in the Pacific Division where apparently every team except Vegas has a bit of a goalie problem. Cal Petersen has already been sent to the AHL, should the Oilers go down this route to try and fix Jack Campbell? Jacob Markstrom has also been wildly inconsistent for the Flames, and the Canucks could be without Thatcher Demko for a while. There are a lot of teams out west that have goaltending issues. Frank and Jason gave some insight into that.

From there, they entered the discussion of Alex Formenton. Why did it remain unsigned? Frank provided some context on this and explained where he could go now since he is ineligible for the remainder of the 2022-23 NHL season.

Tyler Yaremchuk also took part in a new edition of Buy or Sell delivered by DoorDash and Pointsbet Canada.
