The P. DFO summary. 174 – Sara Orlesky on what propelled the Jets to first place in Central

After taking half of last week for American Thanksgiving, Jason and Frank returned today with a new episode of the podcast. From the jump, they talked about their weekends which featured Frank meeting an interesting uncle and Gregor having a few takes on the World Cup.

They finally got to the hockey side and started by talking about the surprising number of comebacks we’ve seen over the past two days in the NHL. From there, they talked about Matt Murray’s solid play between the pipes for the Maple Leafs, the Kraken and their solid play throughout November, and the Rangers’ struggles. Tyler Yaremchuk also asked a few questions about rewards in a new edition of Buy or Sell delivered by DoorDash and Pointsbet Canada.

Their guest today on the module was Sara Orlesky. After 14 years with TSN, she is now in a new role with the Winnipeg Jets. The team is off to an incredible start as they currently lead the Central Division. After not making the playoffs last season, there have been a lot of changes for the Jets. They brought in Rick Bowness as head coach and they took the captaincy away from Blake Wheeler. Sara spoke about the impact of those two moves and everything that got the Jets off to a flying start.
