Since the almost simultaneous departures of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan, the rebuilding of Spurs drags on. The franchise, however, has a nugget around which to build, since the latter has just achieved something unheard of for the legendary Big 3!
With a dynamic DeMar DeRozan-LaMarcus Aldridge duo, the Texan leaders no doubt thought they could still compete among the leaders of the Western Conference. The failure that followed was all the more painful. Dependent for three seasons on the performance of these two stars, the Spurs decided this summer to begin a reconstruction, which could undoubtedly have started following the departures of Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan.
Dejounte Murray more complete than the Spurs Big 3
In difficulty in terms of results, San Antonio still sees some of its young shoots explode this season thanks to this new turn taken. Among them: Dejounte Murray, whose game seems more versatile than ever. This Wednesday, during the derby against the Rockets, the 25-year-old leader recorded the 7th triple-double of his season, achieving at the same time an unprecedented performance in nearly 30 years!
With his performance tonight, Dejounte Murray (32 PTS, 10 REB, 11 AST) is the first @spurs player to record 30+ PTS, 10+ REB, and 10+ AST in a game since David Robinson in 1994. pic.twitter.com/xPDrGmcqTS

With his performance tonight, Dejounte Murray (32 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists) becomes the first Spurs player to have 30 or more points, 10 or more rebounds and 10 or more assists in a game since David Robinson in 1994.
You understood, none of the members of the mythical Big 3 of the franchise had achieved such a feat.
We must indeed go back to the period of reign of David Robinson to find traces of such a complete match. On this famous 1993-94 season, the Admiral had even signed two triple-doubles of this kind, including one of the rare quadruple-doubles in history (34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks). Who knows, maybe his interceptor skills (2.1 per game, league leader) will allow Murray to edit this feat in turn!
The hatching of Dejounte Murray continues at Spurs, and is materialized by lines of XXL stats. The latest even allowed him to do better than his illustrious predecessors in the Big 3 of San Antonio!
