Zapping Foot National Top 10: Ligue 1 top scorers in activity
Big milestone for the Professional Football League on its various social networks this Tuesday. The LFP thus informed on November 16 that the bar of 20 million followers had been crossed since November 1, through a press release. We can thus realize the importance that the League takes on the networks with this big reach bar.
The pride of the LFP
« Thanks to international development and the work of digital teams, the LFP recorded on November 1 more than 20 million followers on its social networks. This season, the arrival of Lionel Messi in Ligue 1 Uber Eats has been a powerful accelerator. Four months after the start of the 2021/2022 season, the LFP has reached the goal of 20 million aggregate followers on its platforms (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Ligue 2 BKT, Professional Football League). The strongest increases concern TikTok with a total of 1.8 million followers (+ 70% vs July 2020), Twitter with a total of 2.4 million followers (+ 51% vs July 2020) and YouTube (+ 38% vs July 2020). The audience continues to internationalize with more than 3.2 million additional followers on social networks in foreign languages (+ 48% vs. July 2020), i.e. twice as many fans recruited than in France. Sign of this dynamic, the Weibo, WeChat, Toutiao and Douyin accounts for Chinese fans, now have more than 2.2 million followers. This dynamic has accelerated with the arrival of Lionel Messi in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. The Argentine star allowed the LFP to record its largest increase on social networks since the creation of all accounts: +854,000 additional fans in August 2021. This strong growth on social networks constitutes further proof of the attractiveness of Ligue 1 Uber Eats in France and internationally. In this promising context, the project to create a commercial company, which will prioritize international development and digital technology, will further accelerate this growth.« , can we read in the press release of the League, very proud to be able to pass this big milestone in this month of November 2021.
