Silva and Warnock have already faced each other in the dugout when they were managers of Everton and Cardiff respectively
New Fulham boss Silva faces a huge clash in their Premier League game as the London club host Middlesbrough at Craven Cottage.
Warnock’s Middlesbrough finished in tenth place last season, in the top half of the table, and the boss has admitted that a lot of player turnover is needed to improve this quarter.
As a result, six players joined the club from Teesside this summer, while Fulham also only made two signings, but there are big ones in the £ 12million arrival of Welsh international Harry Wilson. Liverpool and Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga on a free transfer.
And what better way to kick off the new season than to see two new-look teams compete against each other.
And it’s not the first time the managers have faced each other in the dugout, having met during their respective spells as manager of Everton and Cardiff in the Premier League.
