The Loco-Sport hiking section is staying the course
Massay. The hiking section of Loco-sport at an annual general meeting in Massay. The hiking section of Loco-Sport held its general assembly on September 17, outdoors, as in 2020, due to sanitary conditions. It started with two hikes, 8 and 12 kilometers.
The hikers then got together to participate in the annual review of past and future activities. Denys Godard, responsible for this section, and Michel Varannes, president of Loco-Sport, animated this moment.
They have around sixty members, a figure that has fallen slightly due to the situation for over a year which has limited the number of activities. The organizers are however happy to have kept the Wednesday and Sunday morning marches. There was also a discovery day in the marshes of Bourges and a stay from June 29 to July 2 in the Ambazac mountains, Lake Vassivière and Saint Léonard de Noblat.
The price of memberships for this new year has been set at 17 euros for railway workers and 18 euros for outsiders.

Hike to the Fay de Vierzon pond
On the program side, in addition to the usual walks, they plan a hike to the Fay pond (Vierzon) on November 21, as well as hiking trips to the island of Ouessant and the Margeride in the Massif Central.
