Ferrari Testarossa Officine Fioravanti: The mythical car rises from its ashes
The Swiss company Officine Fioravanti has completed its crazy project: to restore the legendary Ferrari Testarossa to its former glory in a modern version.
First project of the Swiss company Officine Fioravanti, the company created in the 1990s by Leonardo Fioravanti, former designer of Ferrari, could not tackle a model other than one of the creations from the Italian factories, and it is the legendary one that Officine Fioravanti has set out to breathe new life into: the famous Testarossa.
Here, it is a real work of balance that had to be faced, namely to succeed in modernizing and adapting to our current times a model which has a soul, where its seniority and its authenticity have created over the years a single signature.
Its white dress, a tribute to the television series Miami Vice, hides a rear central flat-12, integrated into a completely revised technical architecture to allow the 4.9L to reach 510 hp and 600Nm of torque, i.e. 120 horsepower more than the original model, already a reference to its time. Thus, the new generation Ferrari Testarossa has a top speed of 323 km/h for a lighter weight of 130 kg!
Öhlins has developed electronically adjustable shock absorbers and a 7 cm front axle lift system on command. Braking is provided by Brembo discs with 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston at the rear. As for tyres, Fioravanti offers Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or 4S or Pirelli Trofeo R. Each copy can be fully personalized by its future owner. To thank them, Officine Fioravanti has designed a tailor-made luggage set designed to be perfectly adapted to the vehicle.
