The launch of POCO X5 and POCO X5 Pro is scheduled for February 6
After numerous leaks that confirmed the specifications and design of the POCO X5 series, we finally have a launch date. POCO has confirmed the arrival of the POCO X5 Pro in India on February 6. Although there is no mention of the POCO X5 in this teaser, we assume that the phone will be launched alongside. On the same day, the phones will likely hit global markets.
The teaser on Flipkart confirms the launch date of the phone and comes with the tag « Unleash X ». The picture also features Indian cricketer and captain of Gujrat Taitains IPL team, Hardik Pandya who is the brand ambassador. We can see the POCO X5 Pro in its sleek POCO Yellow color option.

POCO X5 Pro launch details
The POCO X5 Pro will arrive in India on February 6 at 5:30 p.m. IST in India, and at 8:00 p.m. GMT+8 for global fans. Apparently, the POCO X5 5G will be absent from the Indian party, but the smartphone will be launched worldwide. The POCO X5 5G is based on the Redmi Note 12 5G which has been available in China since the beginning of the month. However, it brings better CPU. Vanilla could be launched in India later this year.
The POCO X5 Pro will be launched in India and globally as the renamed Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed. The phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, we have the biggest improvement over the X4 Pro. The phone packs the Snapdragon 778G processor with the Adreno 642L GPU. It will be available in variants with 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
In terms of optics, the Pro will bring a triple-camera setup with a 108-megapixel main camera. There will also be an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16 MP selfie shooter. The POCO X5 Pro draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
