The Kings have no room for error

The Los Angeles Kings are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race. On Wednesday, they’ll want to cement their hold on third place in the Pacific Division standings by taking on the Colorado Avalanche.

The match will be broadcast on TVA Sports and TVA Sports direct, starting at 9:30 p.m.

With 88 points in 75 games, the Kings are just three points ahead of the fourth-placed Vegas Golden Knights, who aren’t even currently in the playoffs picture.

With a win, the Kings could join the Edmonton Oilers, second in the Pacific Division, with 90 points.

For its part, the Avalanche is the best on the Bettman circuit and already has its ticket to the playoffs in its pocket.
