When Lucas Raymond broke the tie, with less than 7 minutes to go in the 3rd period, the Red Wings thought they were heading for victory.
The Blue Jackets had another idea in mind. Yegor Chinakhov, Zack Werensky and Alexandre Texier all hit the target in the last 5 minutes of play. For Chinakhov, it was his first NHL career goal.
