The Green Buffaloes open the ball with a festival of goals

Festival of goals this Sunday afternoon at the second edition of the Women’s Champions League of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Zambia’s Green Buffaloes beat Liberia’s Determine Girls 4-0.
The two clubs are among the eight teams qualified for the final stages of the African tournament in Morocco from October 30 to November 13, 2022. This afternoon at the Stade Prince Moulay El Hassan, Determine Girls sank under the weight of the Green Buffaloes.
The goals were scored by Maweta Chilenga 8′, Natasha Nanyangwe 30′, Hellen Chanda 31′ and Ireen Lungu 58′. With this 4-0 victory, the Green Buffaloes take the lead in Group A with 3 points. The other teams in the group are Simba Queens FC (Tanzania) and AS FAR (Morocco) who face each other tonight.
The Woman of the Match award went to Ireen Lungu.
