The GM of a top franchise publicly recruits Steph Curry!

Eliminated from the Play-In-Tournament with the Warriors, Stephen Curry can now approach the summer in peace. Well, that’s what was at least expected. A leader of a candidate for the title has indeed decided to flirt with the double MVP!

While he had only played five small games in 2019-20 following a big wrist injury, Stephen curry has made a comeback this season. Best scorer in the league (32 points per game, career record), the leader was squarely invited into the race for the MVP, despite the average record of his team (39-33, 9th in the West). An impressive performance from the three-time champion.

Now on vacation, the Chef can therefore quietly follow the postseason course of his brother Seth, who plays in Philadelphia. This was crucial in his team’s Game 5 victory over the Wizards, and the Warrior naturally reacted to it on Instagram. Only here, Daryl Morey, GM of the Sixers, saw the post and hastened to publish the following response:

Curry: “Yo Seth Curry, you did some dirty tonight! «

Daryl Morey: “Join him”.

A statement that made more than one react, since the ex-leader of Houston can be accused of tampering, trying to recruit the player without going through Golden State and this even before the start of the free agency. Morey realized this, and decided to calm things down so as not to receive a fine from the league:

My god guys, I’m just talking about how happy we are to have Seth Curry at the Sixers, nothing more!

We will allow ourselves to doubt the innocence displayed by the « culprit » … That being said, there is almost no chance that the Warrior will leave his franchise, even if it allows him to go play with his brother. Philly fans are therefore going to have to keep this scenario warm in their fantasy box. If their franchise is crowned champion this season, it will only be ancient history anyway.

Let Golden State fans calm down, Stephen Curry is not expected to be going anywhere in the near future. The boy anyway has a profile to compete for his entire career within a single franchise, to the delight of that of the Bay.
